Professor Ilaria Venanzi (University of Perugia) will teach a Ph.D. course titled “PROBABILITY THEORY AND STATISTICAL METHODS FOR DATA ANALYSIS”, aimed at providing the basis of statistical analysis and probability theory. The main topics covered by the course are: basics of probability theory; statistical methods and tools for data analysis; parameters estimation and statistical hypothesis testing; Monte-Carlo method and data sampling.
The Course will be held on January 11th, 13th and 15th 2020 at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Perugia, remotely via Microsoft Teams platform.
